Focus and Scope

Journal of Sustainable Environment Health and Pollution is an international, peer-reviewed journal. The following is the scope of this journal:

  1. Environmental Health and Sanitation: Clean water quality, basic sanitation, hygiene, and management of environment-related diseases (such as waterborne and vector-borne diseases),
  2. Air Quality and Respiratory Diseases: Analysis of exposure to air pollutants (both indoor and outdoor, such as PM2.5, PM10, and toxic gases) and their impact on morbidity and mortality of the human respiratory system,
  3. Environmental Toxicology and Epidemiology: Studies on the bioaccumulation of hazardous chemicals, heavy metals, and pesticides, as well as analysis of disease patterns resulting from environmental exposure,
  4. Climate Change and Global Health: The impacts of global warming, extreme weather, and natural disasters on public health vulnerability, as well as efforts to adapt health systems,
  5. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS): Industrial hygiene, ergonomics, workplace hazard risk management, and prevention of work-related diseases (WRD),
  6. Waste Management and Pollution Control: Technological innovations and policies in the management of medical, domestic, and industrial waste, as well as the control of soil and water pollution, and
  7. Urban Environmental Health: Urban planning, healthy housing, green infrastructure, and the impact of the built environment on mental and physical health.
