Volume 1, Issue 1 (2026) is the inaugural issue of the Journal of Public Health Industry, featuring six articles addressing strategic issues within Indonesia’s health system and healthcare industry. The topics include electronic medical record transformation, service quality in pharmaceutical distribution, harmonization of intellectual property regulations in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, school-based disaster preparedness, challenges in financing primary healthcare under Indonesia’s National Health Insurance (JKN), and the development of an integrated primary care framework through the Pusyankes model. This issue brings together perspectives from public health, healthcare management, health policy, health law, and digital transformation to support the development of a more responsive, integrated, and people-centered health system.
